The Challenge

Shipping across Africa still means stitching together bookings, carriers, payments, and tracking by hand. Customers and businesses lack a single place to create shipments, see price, pay, and follow a package from pickup or hub drop-off through delivery.

The Approach

We designed and built the booking, payment, and tracking core: customers and businesses book and pay, partners execute, and the same system tracks the package through last-mile verification. Web and mobile surfaces share that core.

The Product

The live product covers shipment booking and creation, domestic and international workflows, and multiple delivery options with transparent price calculation and online payments. Operators manage invoices, pickups, hub drop-offs, and delivery support. Recipients and businesses track packages live, with proof of delivery and issue management in the same flow.

The Engineering

The web and mobile experience is React. The API is Express, with Mongoose on MongoDB for shipments, partners, and payments, and Redis for caching and live operational state — so booking and tracking stay fast as volume grows.
